Dundee is in the East of Scotland with good connections to all major cities in the United Kingdom by rail, road and and air. The Congress Organising Committee, in conjunction with Dundee and Angus Convention Bureau have organised airport transfers from Edinburgh and Glasgow ariports to help delegates to arrive safely in Dundee. Please note that these transfers must be booked by the delegates and are limited on a first come first served basis (see below). Travelling by Rail Dundee is on the main East Coast route with direct services to Newcastle, York and London, and to Carlisle, Preston, Coventry, Birmingham, Oxford, Bristol, Reading, Southampton, Bournemouth and Plymouth. There are overnight sleeper services from London, the south coast and the west country. Rail journeys to the other major cities in Scotland (Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow) take approximately 1 1/4hrs, and the regular service from London King's Cross takes only six hours. Travelling by Coach Day and night coach services (operated by National Express, Stagecoach Group, and Scottish Citylink) are available to major cities throughout the UK including London. Dundee's main bus station is on Seagate, approximately 10 minutes walk from the main University of Dundee campus. Edinburgh's main bus station is on St Andrews Square and Waterloo Place - a two minute walk from Waverley Railway Station and Glasgow's Buchanan Street bus station is a five minute walk from Queen Street Railway station.. |

| Travelling by Air The local airport has daily flights to London City airport (LCY), but most international visitors transfer at Edinburgh (EDI) , Glasgow (GLA, PIK) or Aberdeen (ABZ). Congress Airport Transfers Airport Transfers from Edinburgh (EDI) and Glasgow (GLA) airports have been arranged on a first come, first served basis. Please see the schedules below for coach availability and timings. Please note that transfers must be booked using the link below. A Congress Representative will be on hand to welcome delegates on the Transfer Coaches. |
